Match scoring

Every fixture resolves off the official 90-minute score.

Extra time and penalties never change awarded prediction points. The engine always scores the regulation result only.

  • Exact score awards 8 points and stops there.
  • Correct outcome awards 3 points when exact is not correct.
  • Correct home goals and correct away goals can each add 1 point when exact is not correct.
  • Cancelled fixtures are excluded from ranking and streak calculations.

Leaderboards

Two boards, one scoring engine.

The same scored predictions power both global and group views, then the app presents them through two competitive lenses.

  • Total Ranking sorts by total points first.
  • Precision adds +3 exact score, +2 outcome, +1 goal difference, +1 home goals, +1 away goals, and +1 total goals.
  • Champion points contribute to total ranking directly.
  • Global and private group boards use the same calculation rules.

Momentum

Streaks and badges stay edition-based.

Engagement stays grounded in the active tournament edition so a new competition always starts with a clean slate.

  • Current streak counts consecutive correct outcomes.
  • A finished fixture with no prediction breaks the active streak.
  • Badge awards are deterministic and idempotent during recalculation.
  • Leaderboard, follow, and profile summary all surface the same streak and badge story.
